1) New kids party themes
I have just added four new themes to Kids party Cabin. If you have a kids birthday party coming up well the following might be just what you are after:

NEW! Tea Party Treasures
Indoors or out, a tea party is always a hit with the younger kids, boys and girls.
NEW! Craft Party
This craft party is great for those cooler days and great for kids aged 8 years and up.
NEW! Train Birthday Party
One of my favorites and is hugely popular with the preschool kids.
NEW! Fairy Party
This was one of my daughters favorites - now she is 13 she may not think so! A real girlie party with a magical flavor.

2) Easiest chocolate fudge frosting

Wat to make your own frosting but not sure how. Well look no further as this has got to be one of the all time favorites.

Ingredients : (serves 4-6)

  • 75g margerine
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons evaporated milk
  • 225g sieved icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Method :

Place the margerine and cocoa in a small saucepan and melt together over a low heat or in a micorwave on the warming setting. Then stir in the remaining ingredients and beat well with a wooden spoon till smooth.

The is an excellent icing that spreads well. The above quantities should cover and fill an 18cm (7") round sandwich cake.

    4) Your tips

** Get the guests to write a message or draw a picture in a special party keepsake book. It's great for looking at later. Leah, Brisbane

** If you have a dog, remember that not all children like dogs. My daughter refused to enter the house till the dog was locked away. Julie, Bishops Stortford UK

** Our kids have great fun with cardboard boxes. Ask your local supermarket for large boxes. The kids might not need much else to play with! Jess, NJ

    4) Bag a Bargain

I only ever include here what I think are genuine bargains and also things that I think that you would find useful such as new items. I know that many of you are from around the world so I always include where the country is of anything that I recommend so as not to waste your time. We all know that time is precious.
