What u need: large group of people

Have everyone sit in a circle with a large amount of space in the middle. One person is the leader.

All of the people are villagers and the leader tells the villagers to go to sleep. He/she says he's picking the mafia(4), then police(4), then doctor(1).

The leader tells the villagers to go to sleep then he/she wakes up the mafia and asks them who they want to kill, then they ask the police who they want to accuse and then they ask the doctors who he/she wants to save.

The leader then tells the villagers to wake up and makes a story. If anyone is killed or the police accuse the right people of being in the mafia they go to the middle. Every once in a while u pick new people for the mafia, police, and doctors.

A fun twist is when there are only two people. it makes for a funny story.

I played it at camp and it was tons of fun.

Also try acting out everything in the end..for that you need to write down the story.

i played this game at a girls camp and i loved it. We would play at night right be4 we went to bed. the funest part was that the first time i was mafia i killed every body, all the other mafia were found out about so they were out of the game. after that i was always the first person out even if it was the next day. i finely quit the game and was the leader but they still wnted to kill me lol it was really fun now mafia is not the same if i dont die first lol

Actually i love this game i play it all the time with my friends but the way i play it goes like this. You first pick the leader the leader sorts some cards and you need 2 king 1 queen and 3 aces depending on how many people you have playing. The king is the detective, the queen is the nurse and the aces are the mafia, anything else are townspeople. So the leader tells everyone to close their eyes, then he says 'mafia wake up'. So just the mafias wake up and point to who they want to kill. They can only kill one person. then after they pick they go back to sleep. Then the leader says 'detectives wake up'. So only the detectives open their eyes and point to who they think the mafia is. Then they close their eyes. When they are done picking, then the leader says 'nurse wake up' and he or she does and he or she picks who to save and not get killed. They can pick themselves if they want to. Then they close their eyes and the leader says everyone wake up then he says there was a successful hit or the hit was not successful if the nurse saved the same person that the mafia killed then everyone votes on who they think it is except the leader. if you get a vote you put a finger up whoever has the most fingers up after the voting is out even if the nurse saved them it could be anyone. the you close your eyes again and repeat.

Sounds fun

This sounds like a fun game although i was a little confused with the instructions. Who tells the story? And are the players meant to guess who is the mafia, police and doctor?
