You are probably on this page as you are considering using or buying Site Build It. I cannot stress to you how important it is to do your research first and to find out if Site Build It (otherwise known as SBI) is for you.

I used SBI to build this website. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have a business, I wouldn't be earning an online income and I wouldn't be working at home. I did however do an awful lot of research first and asked a lot of questions beofre I decided to buy it.

I am definitely a person that likes to know all the small details before I launch into something.

Since I started out with SBI I have talked about it to family and friends. Some were interested and some weren't. That's fine.

Of those who were interested, several went on to use SBI and to build their own websites. All of them had never built a website in their lives yet all of them now have their own "online business".

It is a really tough decision to make on whether SBI is for you and whether it is worth the $299 annual fee. Having said that you are in the right place as talking to someone who has 'been there, done that' is worth a lot.

In a nutshell Site Build It (SBI) is an online program that guides you in very easy steps on how to build a website. It shows you how to take a hobby, passion or interest that you have and then how to turn it into a money earner.

#2. Can anyone use Site Build It?

Anyone can use Site Build It no matter where you are in the world. You will need a computer and Internet connection though. You don't need to know anything at all about building a website. Site Build It has an incredibly simple system to help you create your website really easily and quickly. Everything is included : templates, instructions, guidance, support, forum.....

#3. How do you make money?

There are 3 'main' ways you might make money:

Firstly if you have your own geographically local business eg plumber, wedding planner, SBI shows you how to create a website that will really impress future clients and then helps you to get your website at the top of the local search engines.

Secondly you might for example create a website about your favorite beach holiday resorts. You then apply for Google adsense which means you are allowing Google to place adverts related to your website on your website pages. Google will then pay you as per their guidelines.

Thirdly you might recommend products (that others sell)l on your website and you earn a commission for any sales. So for instant say you had a website on anti-ageing products and you recommend a particular facial cream which is being sold by another website. Any of your visitors that clicked on to that other website via your website and then went on to buy the cream, easers you a commission. This is known as "Affiliate Marketing".

#4. I have no idea what to build a website about.

Site Build It has a very clever process which will walk you through how to choose a topic that is firstly right for you and secondly which will be profitable for you i.e. earn you an income.

My sister in law loves caravanning so she has created a website on caravanning in the UK. I like kids so have created a website on kids parties. A work colleague of my husband is doing one on setting up a business in Africa and another on home schooling.Here are some case studies.

#5. How long did it take you to build your website?

I won't pretend that you can build it in a day or even a month. It takes time. People who wish to build a website within a month and expect it to generate thousands straight away, will be disappointed.

However many people eventually make their Site Build It website business their full time job or they use it to build their retirement income or as income when they're taking time out from their job or to fund their studies. It's up to you.

I started kids-partycabin in early 2003 and it took me about a month to work out what to build my website on, choose the name and so on and then it was about 6 months before I felt I had a decent looking website and I was getting visitors. For others it is quicker and for others slower.

I started my second website learn-french-today in 2007 and it was so much quicker to get going as I already had the experience behind me.

#6. How much money do you earn a month?

The big question that everyone wants to know! The first year you need to build the foundations of your business and this is hugely important. You need to understand the nuts and bolts and get them all in place. That is where a lot of people fail.

My first year on both my websites I earned not so much. The second year though I earned more than double my SBI fee and my income was going up each month. Each year after that my income has at least doubled and is still on the increase.

I now earn enough per month to allow me to work from home full time. Some people earn much more than me but they probably put in more time and effort. You put in what suits you.

#7. Can you do it in your spare time?

Yes, absolutely. In fact most SBI'ers run their web business part time. My website is my sole income. I probably spend about 4 hours a day at the computer but that does include time spent gleaning information and tips off the Site Build It forum. Some days I don't work at all and other days I just answer emails. I think 2-3 hours a day is a good time allocation for me.

It costs $299 USD per year.....for everything. That works out at just under $1 USD per day. This covers everything and there is no more to pay.

#9. I can build a website for much less elsewhere so why is SBI so expensive?

You are absolutely right in that you can build a cheap or free website for very little.

However with SBI you get so much more than just a website template. You get monitoring of your website, analysis to tell you how you can do things better, how you can get to the top of the search engines, how to write great pages, how to be the best in your topic, 24 hour help in the forums....etc

Think about this......The main page for this website has kids party ideas as its main keyword/theme. Do a search for 'kids party ideas' (without the commas) on google and you'll see about 199,000,000 results. My website page is usually in the top 3 - thanks to SBI.

It is a numbers game. The more people that visit your website, the more earning potential it has. SBI shows you how to get lots of visitors and shows you how to create and write a website to be proud of. A simple website building program doesn't. It's that simple
