Bunny Cake

Frederick the Funny Bunny

We made this cake for Easter.

We used the recipe for the All-in-One sponge cake from this website.

We used two 9 inch tins. While the cakes were in the oven, we made the icing (butter icing and normal icing). The butter icing was made for the ears, the teeth, the eyes and the cheeks. After the cakes had cooled, we cut the two oval shapes from one of them for the ears. The we covered the cake with pink icing. After, we placed the rolled out icing on in their places. So that the butter icing doesn't look a bit yellow, we put normal white icing over it. Then finally we put our little decorative touches to it (Smarties and Sprinkles!)

PS: if the butter icing slips off the normal icing, put tooth pics to keep them in place.
