Delicious Double Chocolate Cake!

I make this cake on special occasions and for some birthdays. It is a very tasty cake that everyone can enjoy!
INGREDIENTS: 125 grams of butter 3/4 cup of caster sugar 2 eggs 1 1/4 cup of self raising flour 2 tablespoons of custard powder 1/3 cup of cocoa powder 1/2 cup of warm water
TO MAKE THE BUTTERCREAM: 125 grams of butter 1 1/3 icing sugar 1/2 cup of cocoa powder 2 table spoons of milk
METHOD: 1. Turn oven to 180 degrees (350)fanforced Greese a deep 23cm round cake tin. 2. Put butter, sugar, eggs, flour, custard powder and cocoa in a mixing bowl. Add water. 3. Beat 2 mins on low speed then 2 mins on high speed. s 4. Spread evenly in tin and bake for 30-40 mins. 5. Turn on a rack to cool.
HOW TO MAKE THE BUTTERCREAM: Put butter, icing sugar, cocoa and milk in a bowl. Beat for 1 minute on low speed and 3 mins on high speed. If it is too thick add a little bit of water.
Cut the cake in half spread the buttercream on the bottom half. Cover the top of the cake and the sides in the buttercream. Add chocolate freakels or any decorations of your choice.
and last but never least ....

RECIPE NOTES... If you dont have selfraising flour you can make it by adding 2 teaspoons of baking powder to every cup of flour. thats how i made mine beasuse we did not have any selfraising flour.
Also your measurements do not have to be exact.
